Position Overview
As our Legal Assistant, you'll support a team of dedicated attorneys and help drive the success of our litigation matters. From organizing case files and drafting legal documents to conducting legal research and managing schedules, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth and efficient case management. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be critical in maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and maintain case files and essential documents for ongoing litigation cases.
- Review, draft, and proofread routine legal documents, ensuring they are accurate and relevant.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
- Coordinate attorney schedules and deadlines, providing reminders and ensuring all tasks are on track.
- Relay messages and updates efficiently between legal teams, clients, and external contacts.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in litigation support, with a strong understanding of the legal process.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
